Ps Taiyo looks looks at the life of Barabbas. How he was a crook, murderer and leader of an insurrection. The people requested that Barabbas be set free over Jesus Christ. We may look at Barabbas and judge him but in actual reality we also have sin in our lives and are not perfect. Jesus also took our place and took the punishment we so deserved. Jesus was fully innocent and we were guilty, but He still chose to receive the consequences

Ps Taiyo looks at Joseph's life, the adversity he faced and the bad news he received whilst he was at his private table. Joseph not only had a private table but he had a private room where he would go and pour out his heart to God. Joseph role-modelled the power of a secret place. No matter what we are going through, the secret place is a place where we can connect with God, pray, read the word and encounter His presence

Ps Taiyo Konda looks at Psalm 23 and the idea of believers sitting at God's table but not feasting on the banquet that God prepares for us. In verse 5 it says "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies".

Ps Taiyo Konda talks about Mephibosheth and the situation he found himself in. Removed from the Palace in a place where there were no pastures, no opportunities and no means of communicating with the outside world. At times in life it feels like we are in Lo-Debar.

Ps Taiyo Konda talks about how our purpose is to be in proximity of God's blessing - sitting at His table, it is to invite everyone and anyone to be in proximity to God's presence and it is to "GO" and make disciples. When we are not doing these three things, we have lost touch with being a true disciple.
