A SEAT AT THE TABLE - A long way from Lo-debar

Luke 14:23
Then the Master told His servant, 'go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full'.

A LONG WAY FROM LO-DEBAR
Last Sunday we looked at the life of Mephibosheth and the situation he found himself in. Removed from the Palace in a place where there were no pastures, no opportunities and no means of communicating with the outside world. At times in life it feels like we are in Lo-Debar. In a place that does not look like God is speaking, encouraging or moving in our lives. But just like David's servant Zia went to seek out Mephibosheth and pick him up from his situation to position him at the "Banquet Table" with no limitations, God also wants us to know that there is a seat reserved with just our name on in. As we exercise patience and gratefulness in our seasons of Lo-Debar, God is getting ready to pick us up and lead us to pastures that are plentiful.
