A SEAT AT THE TABLE - Everyone is Welcome

Luke 14:23
Then the Master told His servant, 'go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full'.

ROADS AND LANES
The Great Banquet is a parable that Jesus taught to emphasise to His disciples the importance of Kingdom commitment. Kingdom commitment does not just mean attending church, although that is imperative. It does not just mean praying and fasting, although that is necessary. It is the next step of laying our life down and doing whatever we can to be present and to be pressing into the purposes of God for our lives. Our purpose is to be in proximity of God's blessing -  sitting at His table, it is to invite everyone and anyone to be in proximity to God's presence and it is to "GO" and make disciples. When we are not doing these three things, we have lost touch with being a true disciple.
